GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS:
- BA Hons is a one year qualification
- Students select 4 modules each worth 32 credits and totaling 128 credits for the year (taking 2 modules per semester)
- The following modules are compulsory: Music Research Methods in the first semester, and Honours Project – Music (Long) in the second semester
- Please note the following: H1 after the module code denotes that the module is only available in the first semester module, H2 second semester, HB means that the module is available both semesters
- Please select your modules carefully bearing in mind that this is the foundation for your Masters, if you decide to continue. Currently the MA programs are 100% research.
- There will be a compulsory orientation session on Friday 9th February in Bongani Mthethwa hall on the ground floor in Francis Stock Building (the room to the immediate left when you enter the Music Department) from 10:00am – 12:00noon
