The Centre and Popular Music proudly present multifaceted music man BandaBanda.

An advocate of African music to get back to its roots. Roots that were defined by excellence. He believes in music that is proud of what Africa is and it’s future. Redefining the boundaries and perceptions of ourselves and who we ought to be as individuals and as a continent.

Banda Banda will perform new music, and his compositions from the project Banda Banda & The Crocodiles’ first offering – “Africado”.

His music digs into the spirit of oneness & collaboration to open the world to discover a new era of African musical icons. A project to remind the African child of what we are capable of and who we unashamedly ought to be.

The new music is filled with the innovation of bass playing and gadgets that help create the sound in new ways. This will help display a new angle of where music has gone in the past 15 years in the world with the technology that exists.
