Established in 1972, the Eleanor Bonnar Music Library is one of the finest libraries of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Much of the world’s music is represented in the collection of 18000 LPs and CDs, and in addition there is an archive collection of 78 r.p.m. disks numbering 12000, and a substantial collection of audio- and video-tapes, many of great historical importance. Students have access to all these recordings by means of 20 listening booths, equipped with turntables, CD players, tape-decks, and amplifiers. |
